- Experience in the two public reading rooms of the National Library in Printed and Visual Collections and in Manuscripts- Assisting readers with queries, retrieving books, microfilms, newspapers and manuscripts and assisting in issuing requests to readers- Documenting and barcoding collections for offsite storage- Reshelving of collections as required

- Experience in a variety of areas of the library, including reception, the issue desk, acquisitions, cataloguing, inter-library loans and exposure to areas such as information literacy and institutional repositories- Reshelving, tidying and weeding of main lending and short loan books- Searching for claimed returned books- General admin assistance- Basic repair and relabeling of books and theses, including a summer project helping to reorganize the entire short loan collection- Additional experience in other DIT sites- Use of Millennium ILS and OPAC

- Building and managing customer relationships.- Act as the first point of contact for any queries for certain outlets.- Contacting a target number of outlets per day to take orders of Diageo products as well as actively being a point of contact to answer customer queries regarding issues such as credit, returned beer, delivery dates, quality issues and return of empty kegs, while working towards individual and team KPIs.- Working with a team of Diageo Field Sales Reps, Quality Reps, Service Providers, Credit Executives and the Inbound staff of the CCC to effectively solve customer queries.- Highlight all promotions or incentives to customers.- Up selling products in company portfolio.- Maintain outlet notes using SAP and Siebel to ensure an accurate record of a customer’s orders, problems, queries, and actions taken both personally and by other team members.

- Calling a target number of Lottery agents/businesses per day to inquire if they wish to purchase books of Lottery scratchcards.- Recommending to Lottery agents/businesses what quantities and types of scratchcards to purchase based on their sales and stock.- Keeping Lottery agents informed of new or upcoming scratchcard games, along with keeping them up to date with what games to sell through.- Reporting and investigating lost or mis-delivered books of tickets, in collaboration with the National Lottery warehouse and Nightline delivery service.- Liaising with Lottery Field Sales Representatives by phone to assist in scratchcard stock queries.

- Answering ticket queries, general queries and machine queries from members of the public and businesses by telephone.- Reconstruction of ticket numbers, where tickets are lost or damaged, from other information.- Issuing prize cheques for winning scratchcards and tickets to the public, to a value of €12,500 personally and to a value of €25,000 with the authorisation of a senior member of staff.- Entering winning Lottery ticket details called in by An Post Head Post Office Lottery Game Centres from across the country for validation.- Validating Lottery tickets and scratchcards posted in by customers by computer and assisting in posting cheques to the customers.- Participating in the KPMG and Garda supervised draw procedures for the selection of candidates to be entered into the Winning Streak in-show draw for the next program.- Liaising with Lottery Field Sales Representatives by phone to assist in ticket/scratchcard queries.
