I have gained a valuable understanding of the business from different levels through internal progression. This has allowed me to effectively integrate myself within my store and aid in my store's achievements. I am highly motivated to succeed and I have excellent communication skills.I consider myself an ideas person who provides solutions and enjoys working in a customer focused environment. This allowed me to develop my skills both in the classroom and through practical implementation in store. My time on this degree allowed me to gain valuable first hand experience in many management areas within the business. I consistently developed the following skills:- Cash management of the store on a daily basis- Ensuring high quality merchandising and monitoring stock levels throughout the store- Managing and delegating to a team- Adapting to unforeseen circumstances and ensuring a high standard of performance - Ensure success of the store by achieving KPI targets- Stock management through ordering and inventory control- Excellent customer service- Ensuring store cleanliness and presentation are of a high standard- Delivering training to new and existing staff members- Daily completion of HACCPA requirement of this degree was to periodically liaise with senior management and undertake projects to enhance the performance of my store.
