This 21-century regional museum boasts a welcoming film, 8 custom digital interactives and 12 Carousel/TRAIL kiosks.• In 2016-2017, renewal of the Canadian Museum of Science and Technology in Ottawa. EDM was responsible for the software infrastructure underpinning all visitor-facing exhibits along with a dozen digital interactives.• In 2014-2015, EDM delivered a number of feature exhibits for the new Richmond Olympic Experience. This included the 8-screen multi-touch timeline, the "Be a Sports Reporter" video exhibit, an augmented-reality lookout, and a mixed physical-digital interactive of moveable country flags.• In 2012, Darran lead the EDM team that designed and delivered all interactive software for the Science of Rock & Roll Exhibition premiering at Union Station in Kansas City. A key part of this technology-rich exhibition is the use of a unique QR code on each visitor's "Backstage pass". This allows visitors to record and share their musical creations and experiences.• In 2010-2011, Darran was project manager for the EDM team that oversaw design and development of all exhibit software for Telus Spark in Calgary, Canada. This included visitor-facing interactives and software infrastructure for realizing Telus Spark's vision of "smart exhibits".• In 2008-2009, Darran was EDM's project lead as prime contractor for redevelopment of the three core exhibitions at the Museum of Australian Democracy (MoAD) at Old Parliament House, Canberra. Working in collaboration with renowned design firm Ralph Appelbaum Associates, EDM's team delivered this media-rich project on a fixed budget and short deadline, all within the constraints of a heritage building. -
