As co-founder of the agency Infrastructure, I am a result driven Creative Director and Chief Marketing Officer who has spent twenty-five years in Europe and Asia building decisive and indelible international brands. Throughout my previous employment and consultancy roles I have provided creative, marketing and strategic direction to world leading event, retail, lifestyle and interior design company’s. My intrinsic understanding of a company’s DNA, its objectives and the ability to translate this into a financially successful, unique and immersive experience is integral to the success of my work.Embarking my career in art direction and styling for film, television and photographic productions, the art of storytelling is reflected in my approach to all projects across the spectrum of disciplines, be it event curation, marketing strategy or commercial interior design.In 2000 I co-founded a trend forecast, sourcing and product development agency, Maurice & Harris, based in London. With an acclaimed client list including Harrods, Harvey Nichols, Selfridges our company developed trend forward lifestyle and limited-edition collections.In 2004, as the Head of Retail & Brand at Kelly Hoppen Interiors, I launched the company’s retail and licensing programmes internationally. My role encompassed retail strategy, product development and brand expansion. During my tenure, the company rolled out the Kelly Hoppen luxury brand globally, and successfully launched the KH Home collection, a diffusion range of home & lifestyle products, to over 120 stores across the United Kingdom. In 2008 I moved to Asia to join a newly established British company, Halo Creative, as Brand Director. My role encompassed Marketing & Brand Management, Commercial Interior Design and licensed product development. During my time with the company, I supported the vertical integration of the wholesale manufacturing business into various branded B2C collections and the creation of a new retail business, Timothy Oulton, a global retail presence. In 2011 I co-founded Infrastructure, a strategic creative agency offering bespoke design solutions with a multi-disciplinary focus on Brand Creative, Event Curation and Interior Design services. Clients include Marriott International Group, Lane Crawford, Clarion Events, Media 10, Tai Ping, Kelly Hoppen & Timothy Oulton. As Creative Director of the internationally acclaimed annual events, Design Shanghai and Design China Beijing, I worked to established the first truly design-led trade shows and events programme in China.
