As Sales Manager of Event Technologies for Encore at the Omni Mandalay Hotel, my primary duties and responsibilities were the management of all audio-visual technology sales efforts at the location.This included meeting with clients, producers and meeting planners to understand the purpose of their event; designing the technology elements of the event and negotiating the proposal with clients. I was responsible for monitoring the total guest experience in order to maximize and ensure the highest guest satisfaction ratings. In addition, I sought out new revenue channels and contributed to new product offerings. I consistently met or exceeded annual sales budget goals, and increased team top line revenue an average of 18% YOY annually over a 6-year period.Assisted in training technicians on CRM and sales techniques and procedures. Mentored many of our team who were seeking career advancement.Served as Acting Director of Event Technologies for 4 months at The Omni Mandalay Hotel, before accepting a permanent Director position at another Encore operated property.***Recipient of the 2013 Encore Event Technologies - Sales Management Award***
