- Responsible for technical support of assembly and test processes for multiple product lines of control valves. Created numerous technical work instructions and procedures for factory processes. Designed and implemented many fixtures to support safe and efficient assembly processes. - Site HSE Leader for Pressure Test Safety and Advanced Rigging / Crane Lifting. Responsibilities include design of pressure containment barriers, creation of site pressure test procedures, creation of lift plans, training on best lifting practices, and emergency response and investigation of HSE events. - Site Lean Leader responsible for continuous improvement and 5S projects conducted across the factory. - Responsible for the design, analysis, validation, and measurement of gas turbine clearances on new units and existing fleet. Provided final approval on assembly clearances and alignment of all gas turbines built in the Greenville, SC facility. Extensive use of factory tooling including FARO tools, Ansys analysis tools, 3D modeling, tolerance stackups, and various statistical tools in daily work.- Conducted variation studies to baseline all factory turbine assembly processes against design intent. Cut-in a large number of process improvements by implementing better tooling and changing design intent to increase measurement accuracy, while conserving or decreasing operation time and cost.- Provided extensive field support of existing-fleet gas turbine clearances, including approval of field clearance measurements and mitigation plans for potential hardware damage concerns.- Performed numerous FEA analyses to calculate transient clearances for new-design gas turbines. Received inputs from cross-functional teams and delivered final results, including potential risk areas. Provided feedback to system-level teams for design changes to improve operating clearances.

- Responsible for the measurement, analysis, modeling, and engineering drafting of turbine components; as well as new component design, control systems data handling, and many other tasks.- Reverse-engineered many mechanical components using hand measurement tools, FARO Arm measurement system, an understanding of engineering drawings, and computer drafting programs.
