Darrel is a Consultant in BCG’s Singapore office, with a focus on strategic partnerships, and the intersection between financial services and social impact.Selected project experience include:- Anchored financial inclusion strategy for large Asian insurer (including innovative distribution channels to embed insurance for the underserved, doing good through corporate foundation)- Led Banking-as-a-Service (embedded finance) partnerships module, with focus on Loans product, for mid-sized bank in Indonesia- Led partnerships module for insurer in SEA launching a digital product - Evaluated business case for insurer in SEA on potential partnership with Indonesia conglomerate - Designed economic diversification strategy for developing country in SEA, with focus on SEZs- Measured economic, social and environmental impact of multilateral organization on the regionOutside of BCG, he is the Co-Founder of Group AID, a social enterprise with the mission to provide the underserved with access to enrichment activities. Since its founding, Group AID has served 1000 beneficiaries, partnered 50 charities, and worked with 10 corporates/ government organizations in Singapore.Darrel holds an MBA (with Distinction) from INSEAD, and BA in Business Economics (Summa Cum Laude) from UCLA.
