I am an Independent Financial and Mortgage Adviser and partner at The Money Map (Financial Navigation) LLP. Our head office is based in Sheffield, however, I advise and service clients nationwide.I have over 12 years’ experience in the financial services industry. My previous roles include financial planning and general insurance advice as a tied adviser with the Co-operative Insurance Services (CIS) 2002. I became an Independent Financial Adviser in March 2005 with Berry Birch & Noble. Berry Birch & Noble was acquired by Bates Investment Services Ltd in 2006. Honister Capital Ltd then acquired Bates in June 2009 and our partnership re-branded to The Money Map (Financial Navigation) LLP in September 2009. The Money Map became directly authorised by the FCA in July 2012.I pride myself on a clear and concise, jargon free approach to financial planning that result in tailor made solutions that compliment my client’s financial objectives.I advise on estate preservation - inheritance tax mitigation and trust planning which includes investment advice, income planning and professional Will writing. I also advise on retirement planning, residential and buy-to-let mortgages including personal/family and corporate protection. My clients particularly appreciate my dedication to service and commitment to regular reviews; we both find these are important foundations to build a strong client-adviser relationship. I currently write the weekly financial Q&A’s and editorials for the Daily Mirror national newspaper.
