With gratitude for and excitement about returning to Aon, I realize my resume contains a wide variety of experiences. From construction during enlistment in the US Navy Seabees to computer programming skills acquired through Veterans Administration Vocational Rehab, most of my professional activities are interconnected.Continual progression of responsibility resulted in successful construction projects management. Acquired military discipline prepared me for college level work toward earning a computer programming degree. Numerous hands-on computer programming assignments taught me thinking in a structured fashion which I have used throughout my career.An interest in studying jazz piano, due to numerous years of piano lessons as a child, developed an ability to recognize commonalities between construction, computer programming, and music.I hope you agree my adaptability shines through as best illustrated by a willingness to drastically change work/lifestyle as illustrated by some of the extreme job changes I have made.All the experiences portrayed in my resume have created the person I am today. As an employee, I retrospectively feel I rarely did what I was originally hired for but rather evolved into roles more complex and/or challenging than what was originally desired.My appreciation is deep toward Aon for allowing me to bring all the varied strengths I have acquired to bear in my new role.
