Coordinated all helpdesk calls for seven different branches, when calls could not be handled over the phone or through VNC, I visited the branch to give direct end user support. Implemented a tracking sheet for all cell phones making sure the calling plan they had was the most cost effective for the company. Made a spread sheet for all phone placement and punch down number on phone blocks. Programmed the phones for voice-mail and or forwarding. When necessary, toning out and re-punching phone lines on the phone blocks to activate the correct phone jack at the correct desk, thus saving the need for Pac-west to send a technician avoiding a charge for a service call. Made a spreadsheet for issuing and tracking all PDAs. Installed all software for the Palm Pilots insuring they functioned with the end users Outlook e-mail. Tracked all of the peripheral components in Track-it software. Configured all new computers with the bank software and installed them at their workstation. Became the administrator for all secured outside websites, adding and removing users accordingly. Using Active Directory I was responsible for adding and removing all users to the network, granting them access to programs and network shares as their access rights determined. Installed card locks configuring all the locks on the doors in the new administration facility, granting access to all users with slide cards. -
I.S. ConsultantValley Mountain Regional Center 1999 - 2001Configured and placed new computers on the network expanding the network from a 50 to 300 user network. Helped migrate the network into an NT based network. We removed all Win 95 and 98 machines and upgraded them to NT 4.0 workstations. After the new machines were placed I stayed as helpdesk and desktop support. While there I developed a work order procedure using the calls from the helpdesk to shorten response time for desktop support Installed a full network with Cat- 5 wiring at new site making 33 drops for phone and network, complete from the patch panel to the jacks at the workstations. Daily duties included answering helpdesk calls, desktop support, and visiting 3 remote sites to maintain the network. Also placed HP network printers.
