Network Operations Center Technician Ii
Current- Monitors networks for the State of Alabama Schools & Libraries, providing support for network and software application issues- Creates and managed tickets for each user interaction, prioritizing based on severity- Acts as a liaison between the network engineering team and client points of contact, coordinating with external telecommunications and internet vendors to resolve outages within target timeframes- Routinely tests networks, documenting findings using PuTTY and running CMD scripts- Implements computer system requirements by analyzing system problems, designing solutions, and testing standards- Defines application problems by consulting with clients and evaluating procedures and processes- Closes tickets in a timely manner once outages are resolved and sites are back online and functioning properly
