In this role, I trained Managers, Supervisors, Line leads, and Line Workers in the concepts of Lean Manufacturing. 6 production lines were improved to achieve flow and quality output. Metrics were established and tied to a performance bonus program. Ongoing training programs were established to assist with the constant challenges of turnover in the work force. Scheduled and periodic Audits were performed on specific departments and/or flow lines to establish a culture of Continuous Improvement through 5S adherence and standardization of processes and built in Quality activities. Reported to VP of Operations and developed and managed a Change Order system using electronic signature tools to speed the signature collection process.

Responsibilities included planning and oversight of all purchasing and receiving functions, materials sourcing, vendor negotiations, cost of sales control, overall cost reduction. And, planning and organization of internal process and materials flow, process waste identification and reduction, single piece flow, demand pull manufacturing, perpetual inventory systems, materials replenishment processes.

Responsibilities included budgeting for the operation of the Subject Property, including writing, presenting for approval, tracking, reporting and reconciling. Hiring, firing and supervision of all personnel in the operations of the property including Maintenance, customer service record keeping and housekeeping. Scheduled and carried out capital improvements. Acted as owner representative in legal and arbitration settings.
