I am a Military Veteran currently working as a training manager. I have 15+ years in training soldiers and currently have 2 years developing and providing training to Sun Metro’s mass transit maintenance facility. In this position, I develop and provide in-house training on forklifts, aerial lifts, new employee training, CDL training, and manage all training records. I currently coordinate with vendors to provide manufactures training on the vehicles and equipment. I currently hold “Train-the-Trainer” certificates for forklifts, aerial lifts, defensive driving, and I am constantly looking for additional "train-the-Trainer" programs. I assist the safety department in writing standard operating procedures and also monitor the safety data sheet (SDS) program for the maintenance facility. Prior to joining Sun Metro, I worked as a maintenance manager for the United States Army in various maintenance positions that gave me experience in shop operations, fleet management, logistics, inventory management, and training. In dynamic, fast-paced environments I supervised, trained, and led various teams of junior employees and mid-level supervisors during domestic and global operations.
