I am a professional Actor/Writer/Director/ Comedian with a rewarding career spanning over two decades. As an actor, I have been a series regular in numerous Canadian television series including NORTHWOOD, THE REZ and OPEN HEART. Other credits include DEGRASSI, BLACKSTONE, and Universal Picture's LEAVING NORMAL, Comedically, I was a cast member with the world famous SECOND CITY and co-founded the Native American comedy troupe The Mayflower Welcoming Committee. As a stand up I have performed in televised galas for the Winnipeg Comedy Festival and the prestigious Just For Laughs Festival as well as numerous appearances on CBC radio and CBC Television.I have also enjoyed success in a number of literary genres an an award winning screenwriter, radio host and published playwright. My one man show, TALES OF AN URBAN INDIAN was nominated for two Dora Awards (Best Original Play and Best Actor) and toured Canada and the U.S. including the legendary Public Theater in New York. A television pilot based on “Tales” was produced by APTN and aired in 2009. My feature film adaptation of “Tales” was one of 13 international screenplays accepted into the prestigious Sundance Screenwriters Lab. Another of my scripts MOCCASIN FLATS was also accepted into the Sundance Film Festival. The short film became a television series which I wrote for on the Showcase Network and APTN. As a comedic writer, I am a frequent contributor to CBC Radio where I co-wrote and hosted REVISION QUEST which ran four seasons and won the prestigious New York Festival Award. At present, I am a regular on the Teen Nick series OPEN HEART.
