My position was managing employees and overseeing a $225m Biennial Budget and $35m Endowment; In a dual role of Treasury Director which I controlled all treasury & cash management operations and reporting.Cash Management- oversaw cash management, including the management of cash flows, bank accounts and short term investments, ensure there is sufficient liquidity to meet the university’ needs.Debt Management: Managed the university’s debt, including the issuance of debt, managing debt covenants and ensuring compliance with debt related regulations.Investment Management: Developed and implement strategies for the university’s endowment and other investment portfolios. Ensured that investment returns are consistent with the university long term financial goals.Strategic Management: leadership and counsel to COO and University President. Lead the capture, analysis, interpretation, and utilization of financial and operational data used in decision making that meets the needs of executive leadership.Endowment Management: Developed Investment and internal control policies for the University endowment funds; Monitoring the performance of all endowments investments as necessary to ensure the funds are reaching its financial goals.
