Quality Manager
CurrentSummary: Develops, documents, implementation and continuous improvement of systems which ensure all parts are produced per the defined standards and are approved accordingly per the first part approval process. Develops and implements training plans for quality and production personnel to ensure conformance. Manage corrective action system for both internal and external parts. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Oversees site Quality System and controls, compliant with ISO 9001:2015 Standards. Formulates and helps achieve quality objectives complementary to business policies and goals. Establishes “quality at the source” philosophy and helps instill it in key personnel throughout the organization. Develops and initiates quality standards and methods for the process side, in-flow inspection, testing, and evaluation. Performs quality engineering reviews of quoted products RFQs for compliance with stated requirements, including vendor quality manuals and company quality records. Contributes to evaluations of new work and vendors. Reviews all data obtained during quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure consistency with company policies and procedures. Develops new approaches to solve problems identified during quality activities. Oversees Root Cause/ Corrective Action process to ensure timely completion, thorough analysis of root cause and corrective actions, as well as effective implementation of sustainable changes to prevent reoccurrence. Designs and implements quality training programs for key personnel, in conjunction with managers. Investigates and adjusts customer complaints related to quality.
