About Darrell Fuller
I have 30+ years of experience in Oregon politics and policy. This includes a background in campaign management, the legislative process (as a committee staffer and lobbyist), PAC fundraising, issue and message management, and building positive relationships between organizations and the administrative and regulatory agencies which oversee them.I have been an association executive director and lobbyist since 1996, representing much of the auto industry, contractors, land surveyors, and the septic system industry. With one of my clients, Oregon PHCC, I have served on the National Board and the National Education Foundation Board, and as President of the Association Executive Council, representing my fellow state and local association executives. I currently serve on both the Government Relations Committee and the Political Action Committee subcommittee. In my spare time I serve as Chair of the Board of Directors of the Red Cross (NW Oregon), President of the Keizer Volunteer Firefighters Association, and on the Boards of Keizer Chamber of Commerce, League of Minority Voters, and Hope Station (food bank). I am a Keizer Volunteer Firefighter/EMT, and serve as a District Civil Service Commissioner. I am a Disaster Relief volunteer, and First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor with the Red Cross. I am a lifeguard. I also volunteer with SERV-OR in the Medical Reserve Corps (as an Emergency Medical Technician) and with Keizer CERT (Community Emergency Response Team).I am also the Chapter Advisor for the Sigma Chi Chapter (Delta Zeta) at Willamette University and serve on the Board of the Portland Alumni Chapter.
