I created the product and branding of IRBsearch as a product of International Research Bureau, Inc., in May of 2001 before bringing on partners and forming an LLC in August of 2002. I was also responsible for overseeing continued business development, product development, sales and marketing, branding, research and development, mergers and acquisitions, strategic ventures, and the overall vision and tremendous growth of the company.

In 1986 I was one of the founders of International Research Bureau, Inc., (IRB) which was a Private Investigation Agency specializing in public document research and retrieval services, investigations, service of process, public document information database, asset searches, background checks, locates, etc. In 1992 IRB was one of the Tallahassee Chamber's Small Business of the Year award winners. In July of 1995, IRB was bought by Database Technologies, Inc., (DBT) a/k/a Autotrack for its newly developed online database of public record information called IRB-Online. In December of 1995 my business partner and I bought back the public document/background screening part of the company and continued until IRB was sold again in June of 2005.

In January 2001, I was an investor and on the creation team that developed the product known as Accurint. The company name was Seisint, Inc. I worked directly with Hank Asher, (Founder) on development, acquisition of data, content, style, sales, marketing, etc. Shortly after the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 I also assisted in working with Federal, State, and Local Law Enforcement agencies including the FBI and Senator Graham's office about Accurint's ability to assist in the investigation. Seisint/Accurint was bought by Lexis Nexis for $795 million in 2004.

In July 1995 Database Technologies, Inc., (DBT) bought my company, International Research Bureau, Inc. I served on the board of directors for DBT with Hank Asher, Ken Langone, Jack Hight, and others. DBT was best known as Autotrack which was a national online database of public records. DBT was bought by Choicepoint for $423 million in 1998.

I was hired by George Brand (Founder) as an investigative intern and after two years earned my investigator license. I managed a team of investigators for surveillance, civil and criminal investigations, interviews, document retrieval, research as well as assisted in security related matters including football games, construction sites, jewelry stores, money transport, North Florida Fair, transportation and security of justice-involved individuals, etc.
