I grew up in New Orleans in a part of the city where the levee initially gave way during hurricane Katrina. Being a native son, food and family go hand and hand. Some of my fondest memories involve cooking with my mother in our small eat-in kitchen. I especially enjoyed taking a traditional southern recipe and elevating the flavor profile to create something familiar but better. One day I hope to write a cookbook about New Orleans cuisine or write a book about growing up in the city in the ‘70s and weave family recipes into the storyline. As with any tried-and-true recipe, I like looking at the components of a process and enhancing that process to produce a better product or service. I am intellectually curious in that way, and my best questions always begin with either how or why. How does this work? Why is it done this way? Why can’t we do it better, faster, or more cost-effective without forsaking quality? Not surprisingly, my core strengths include process improvement, project management, performance management, case management, strategic planning, coaching, and employee development. Whether as a private practice attorney or program administrator in the only trial court in the District of Columbia, clients expect you to anticipate and eliminate challenges that get in the way of a seamless experience.
