Security Dispatcher and OMNIGO (Security Software) Specialist and trainer. Under the direction of the Supervisor of Security Operations as well as direction from the Manager of Security, the Security Officers receive and transmit all incoming emergency and non-emergency telephone and radio messages to appropriate security personnel and other personnel for Hoag Hospital and its affiliates (the Organization). Function as a resource regarding information for patients, visitors, and Organization personnel. Conduct interior and exterior campus patrols to ensure a safe environment. Submits clear and concise written reports to document all the essential details of events occurring on hospital owned properties. Routinely maintains composure under stressful conditions, setting an example for the staff. Consistently serves as a role model for staff, monitoring their interaction with other Organizational employees, patients, and guests. Recognize unsafe situations and takes immediate action to resolve the issues wherever possible and reports the situation from a safe distance while dispatching Emergency responders when it is not safe to intervene.

Assist in recreation and athletic facility operations, prepare fields for baseball, softball and soccer use, ensure facility and equipment are properly maintained and repaired and assist with athletic leagues, allocations and reservations. Provide staff and customer support by using CLASS reports, including registering participants, preparing class rosters, batching payments and preparing deposits. Prepare and process program records and documents

To respond to all guest and hotel requests, and emergency situations in a timely and professional manner, along with continuously patroling and inspecting assigned areas as scheduled, and promptly report all irregularities, hazardous conditions, and suspicious occurrences.To enforce, while on duty, all company policies, city, county, state, and federal laws and ordinances, along with monitoring and maintaining orderly and safe conduct of all guests and employees while on premises.Prevent unauthorized removal of guest or hotel property from the rooms, common areas, operations, or premises.Control and prevent unauthorized access to secure locations. and administer First Aid and CPR to guests and employees, as needed, following all precautions as specified in blood-borne pathogens plan.

Secure, protect and guard all assets, staff, patient and visitors in and around the Medical Center. Report writing and daily logs; Detainment and surveillance of patients brought in for psychological evaluation. Managing and monitoring main information desk along with checking guest, vendors and staff in and onto hospital floors.

Monitor and authorize entrance of all UPS and airport employees along with a thorough search of badges, bags, and suitcases brought into the warehouse (UPS LAX Gateway). Check in and out truck shipments and in cargo bays and with reporting trucks and drivers information.
