Independently manage solar operations utilizing project managers, superintendants and team members for solar construction projects from 100KWDC to 2 MWDC. Project values ranged from $550,000 to 2.1 Million. Primary duties include:Responsible for the engineering, procurement, and construction activities for a specific site or several sites. Oversees scheduling, budgeting and construction of solar projects consistent with predetermined plans, specifications and contractual commitments.Develop relationships with clients, contractors and staff.Directs construction management professionals, engineers, and other project personnel and collaborates with engineering and construction contractors. May also oversee technical aspects of construction.Manage solar operations' project managers and team members.Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and vendors.Procurement of equipment for the installation.Maintain project deadlines and budgets for a successful completion of project.Oversee the overall operational performance of Solar systems.Work with other SEM operations teams, including sales, finance and legal.Strategize, plan and implement final job strategy.Project manage the entire development process from project proposal internal approval through obtaining site permits, regulatory approvals, legal contracts, to construction and operations.Identify opportunities, analyze and evaluate competing projects and recommend projects to develop.Address interconnection issues with the site utility.Coordinate construction plans and timeframes with Contractors, Engineering and external vendors.Prepare, gain approvals and manage the budget and forecasts for development projects. Maintain industry knowledge of market drivers, competitive grid, and industry trends. Maintain industry business relationships/contacts.

Independently manage the installation of Solar Photovoltaic systems with managers and team members for projects 100KWDC to 1 MWDC. Project values ranged from $300,000 to 2 million. Primary duties include:Develop and plan the layout and installation of electrical wiring and equipment based on job specifications and local codes.Coordinate project plan to meet all job expectations with field managers and team members.Prepare sketches (or follow blueprints) to determine the location of wiring and equipment -- and to ensure conformance to building and safety codes.Design and construct special electrical applications as well as the preparation of specifications and estimates.Conduct periodic site inspections, and provide on-site supervision, related to hazardous or unusual work assignments.Manage all aspects of work completed by sub-contractors, electricians, and trades helpers.Conduct testing of electrical systems and continuity of circuits in wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
