I have worked in the Civil Engineering profession since graduation from the University of Kentucky in May 1980. I am currently registered as a professional engineer in Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Missouri, Virginia, Tennessee and West Virginia. I have worked on projects located in all these states plus Wyoming, Arizona, Alabama, and Ohio. I retired on March 31, 2023. Projects have ranged from environmental restoration projects (such as Abandoned Mined Lands Reclamation, Superfund remediation sites, Orphan Landfill Closures and the Kingston Ash Recovery Project) to civil engineering infrastructure (such as dams, roads, landfills, buildings) through application of geotechnical engineering and water resources engineering principles. I have been fortunate to have worked with smart, skilled people within a teamwork frame. I have also been blessed to have been recognized by my peers in ASCE with awards from the Kentucky Section in 2004 with the "Outstanding Engineer in Consulting" and in 2012 with the "Robert M. Gillim Professional Recognition Award". I realize these awards were really part of being involved in a team effort.
Listed skills include Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Drainage, Earthworks, and 9 others.
