I dispatched, negotiated, and handled all day-to-day operations for a fleet of owner operators. This includes planning, safety, payroll, and billing. I was tasked with maintaining the lanes they run and making sure they stay above a minimum target pay for the week.

While with Landair Transport, I was in charge of two dedicated accounts. I handled everything from payroll to customer service issues. During covid I maintained our on-time percentages and driver retention so we could maintain our high level of support for our customers. Being in charge of so many accounts I have learned how to truly multitask. I also was responsible for training new fleet managers and account managers that come on board who struggle with adjusting to our system.

While working with US Xpress I helped lower our on retention rates while raising our on time percentage with our dedicated customer. I also overseen four other accounts on weekends and maintained communication between drivers, the customer and the stores. To maintain our on time percentage I personally planned our trucks to their routes and adjusted routes as necessary. I also handled reports that ranged from our P&L to tracking same day and next day deliveries.

I handled bringing on new accounts and finding drivers for those accounts. I also handled small international accounts and coordinated shipping from one country to the US. This taught me negotiation techniques and also sales skills.

While with Carroll Fulmer I assisted with dispatch, customer service, and some safety functions as I was a weekend supervisor. While in this position I helped maintain on time percentages and handled all incoming safety and customer service issues. I also co-planned and dispatched a large dedicated fleet of owner operators and company drivers. Being in this role had me utilize time management and analytical skills. I also prepared reports for my direct manager.
