I am a seasoned IT professional with a wealth of experience, currently on the exciting journey of transitioning back into the realm of Cybersecurity. My career has been an exploration of diverse technologies and lately centered around delivering Network Performance Management and Fault tooling for Service Providers.Over the years, I've been fortunate to be at the forefront of technology adoption, contributing to the implementation of solutions such as F5 Load balancers, Juniper ISG 2000's, Splunk, and SevOne. Among my proudest achievements was leading a project to ensure accurate billing from Voice over IP vendors while at MetroPCS. Leveraging Splunk, MySQL, and rate tables from six vendors, we successfully imported and matched Call Detail records, ultimately saving the company considerable man-hours and costs.My proficiency extends to automation, with a focus on Python since 2012. I've utilized this skill to streamline administrative tasks on Linux and SevOne, creating automated solutions through the SevOne API for device imports, user reports, permissions, and licensing reports into Microsoft Excel.With a solid foundation in designing and implementing world-class solutions, my current goal is to shift my focus towards cybersecurity. Engaging in platforms like Try Hack Me, Hack the Box, and various CTFs has fueled my aspiration to become a Purple Teamer. Having honed my skills on the blue team side with tasks like hardening Solaris and Linux, configuring Cisco Router ACLs, and managing network security with Cisco PIX and Juniper ISG, I am eager to further develop my Red Team capabilities and eventually onto a Purple Team.Beyond the tech world, I am an avid amateur photographer, capturing the beauty of wildlife, nature, landscapes, and the thrill of sports. The fast-paced action of sports photography resonates with my passion for excitement. Finding the interplay between light and dark along with the beauty in nature has sharpened my eye for a scene, only hoping to catch what I see in a picture. Additionally, I find joy in listening to and creating music, rounding out my diverse interests and pursuits outside the realm of technology.
