Manufacturer of liquid level gauging equipment used in chemical, paper, and oil/gas industries.Responsibilities:Respond to questions from shop, inside sales, outside sales, drafting, purchasing, vendors and customers.Research and analyze data related to new product designs and existing product improvements.Perform ROI and feasibility studies on new product designs and existing product improvements.Design new products and existing product improvement modifications.Create drawings and bills of materials necessary to produce products. Drawings are produced using AutoCAD and bills of materials are created using Sage 100 ERP system.Work with purchasing, vendors and suppliers to source purchased parts and raw materials needed to produce new products, product improvement modifications and tooling.Create documentation necessary for inspection, installation/operation instructions and sales literature.Coordinate with R&D, machine shop, weld shop, paint shop, assembly, purchasing, quality and sales to ensure smooth implementation of new products and product modifications.

Supervised and distributed daily work assignments to drafting department.Responded to questions from shop, inside sales, outside sales, drafting, purchasing, vendors and customers.Created and implemented drafting standards and documentation necessary to answer daily questions from drafting and sales.Produced project files consisting of layouts, sketches, drawings and bills of materials necessary for special product sales quotations as well as final product development.Worked on new product designs and existing product design improvements.Writing, layout, and creation of drawings required for product sales bulletins and catalogs for circulation to product distributors and prospective customers.

Traveled to Dowell Schlumberger district locations in Colorado and Texas to produce preliminary documentation on prototype and modified oil well servicing equipment built by field personnel. Upon return to Tulsa, created a manufacturing file which consisted of drawings, bills of materials, photographs, and suggested detail design improvements. Files for prototype equipment and equipment modifications were evaluated to determine whether or not they would be beneficial for other district locations around the world.
