Vice President
Led the business development activity in SAIC’s Energy, Environment, and Infrastructure in the “turnkey” renewable energy space; we secured multi-million dollar contracts in the first half of 2011. Prior market penetration in this market had been zero dollars. I sold what was, at the time, the largest project in the construction division’s 100-year history. I received a commitment for two other projects that would result in hundreds of millions of dollars of new business. This work required identifying and growing a partnership with a systems integration company, internal and external selling, technical review, and financial review, ultimately by the CFO, CEO, and Board of Directors of this $11B company. These projects were strategically important not only for the sales volume but also to fulfill SAIC's commitment to its stockholders and the market in general. These were the first turnkey renewable energy projects the company won, and they immediately put SAIC in the top tier of players in the geothermal market.Assisted in the development and execution of the business plan to expand market share in the federal energy consulting space, primarily with the United States Air Force, calling on industrial, commercial, and federal clients. Our offering was both solution-based and professional services
