Current♦ Managed Environmental, Health and Safety regulatory compliance for warehouse distribution, manufacturing, and supply chain optimization facilities throughout the Northeast Region from VA-PA- MA. ♦ Lead/Coordinated national safety conference for distribution center safety supervisors.♦ Successfully achieved dollar cost savings by leading the region in a 19% reduction in the OSHA Recordable Incident rate, 5% reduction in the Lost Time Incident Rate, and 12% reduction in the DART Rate since taking over as Regional EHS Manager Year-Over- Year. Regional footprint of 18 facilities (5 manufacturers, 13 distribution centers); with a team of 3 EHS Specialists located in NY and MD.♦ Raised awareness of the impact of emerging issues whether legislative or best practice.♦ Conduct annual audits and reports on performance to internal and external clients and regulatory bodies while also performing and directing EHS, and Process Safety Management audits.♦ Support facilities and team in conducting incident investigations, reporting, and workers compensation claim follow-ups.♦ Management responsibilities include: - Manage, develop, and coach professional employees on team OR non-professional employees through supervisors in manufacturing, distribution or office environments. - Interpret and execute policies for departments and projects. - Recommend and implement new policies or modifications to existing policies. - Provide general guidelines and parameters for staff functioning. - Hiring staff, recommending pay increases, performing performance reviews, training and development of staff, estimating personnel needs, assigning work, meeting completion dates, interpreting and ensuring consistent application of organizational policies. - Prepare reports, metrics, and communications related to EHS internally and to regulatory bodies when required.
