Performed duties as a field service engineer to support and sustain the Army Integrated Air and Missile Defense (AIAMD) system, AIAMD Battle Command Station (IBCS) Major End Items (MEIs), IBCS Engagement Operations Center (EOC) and Integrated Fire Control Network (IFCN) Relay systems at the IBCS program. Participate in the development and growth of the AIAMD system. Of Soldiers through rigorous training in support of the Department of Defense Soldier Check Out Event (SCOE). Responsible for the maintenance of seven Engagement Operations Central system and associated equipment with minimal Non-Mission Capable time. Maintaining ten Integrated Fire Control Network Relay’s (IFCN) maintaining 100% accountability and functionality throughout the development cycle. Responsible for the employment, logistics, training, organization, and personnel. Provide feedback to system engineers on the readiness of equipment and practical insight on probable changes for a higher quality system. Work daily with Government personnel including Soldiers and outside contractors to ensure the highest standards for equipment productivity where met.

Responsible for the test and evaluation of multiple Air and Missile Defense systems to include Patriot and Integrated Air and Missile Defense (AIAMD). Participating in the development and growth of the AIAMD system while conducting Tactics Techniques and Procedures Verification. Assessment of AIAMD Major End Items such as the Patriot and Sentinel radars, Engagement Operations Center, GEM-T/PAC-3 launchers, and the Soldier-Machine Interface with the AIAMD system. Participating in the Patriot Post Deployment Build 8.0 Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures Verification. Assessment of the Individual and Collective Critical Task List as performed by the Soldiers using new PDB 8.0 hardware and software.Utilizing the force development test/experimentation (FDT/E) to examine the effectiveness of existing and proposed concepts. Developing doctrine, training, leader development, organization, and Soldier developments. Responsible for the definition and refinement of concepts of employment, logistics, training, organization, and personnel.

Develop and implement maintenance standard operating procedures. Assist in training Officers and Enlisted personnel. Oversee the Army Maintenance Management System. Advice commander on Patriot system capabilities and limitations. Order and track multiple repair parts while maintaining a budget analysis. Responsible for the maintenance and accountability of Patriot equipment and repair parts in excess of 3.5 million dollars. Plan, organize, monitor, evaluate, and supervise operations and unit maintenance of the Patriot missile system.

Test and repair components of aircraft radar systems, radar, and tactical displays, identification friend or foe, communication systems, radar altimeters, Doppler navigation equipment, radio navigation equipment, analog computing devices, communication systems, electronic countermeasures equipment, laser and fiber optical, infrared devices, recorder systems, and aircraft data systems. Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions and repair all necessary equipment to ensure safety during flight.

Loaded and fired howitzers. Set fuses and charge on a variety of munitions, including high explosive artillery rounds, laser guided projectiles, scatterable mines, and rocket assisted projectiles. Used computer generated fire direction data to set elevation of cannon tube for loading and firing.
