I am an experienced Leadership Practitioner and organization development consultant with a successful track-record in the health care and non-profit industries. Presently, I am a Leadership Practitioner in the MD Anderson Cancer Center Leadership Institute. In that capacity, I serve as an executive coach and organization development consultant. I have over 15 years’ experience at consulting with leaders regarding their business unit’s strategic planning, brand approach and team performance issues. Furthermore, I am highly skilled at designing and facilitating events and activities that help their teams address those issues, including challenges related to group dynamics. While I enjoy organization development consulting, I am extremely passionate about coaching. I have established a reputation in the institution as an insightful and thought-provoking coach to executives, physician leaders, mid-level managers. My coaching style focuses on supporting client’s desire to achieve goals and create new ways of being through ontological coaching and cognitive science. With respect to teams and groups, I am a highly sought-after coach and consultant. My work involves helping administrative and physician leaders understand where the breakdowns in their teams’ performance are occurring and designing team or group coaching, or facilitated activities to support their efforts to improve performance and group cohesion.Finally, I am also founder and principal of 21st-Century Coaching. Through 21st-Century Coaching, I have, thus far, combined my years of experience as and organization development consultant and board member and board chair of various non-profit organizations to conceive, devise and facilitated strategic planning events and processes for local, state and national non-profit organizations. In addition, I designed and facilitated activities that promote the political and social life of various communities in the Houston area.
