Provide both pre- and post-sales marketing/technical support to timing-product customers (Crystal Units, Crystal Oscillators, VCXOs, VCSOs, and TCXO products) in North and South America. a. Produced and managed roadmap for Voltage-Controlled SAW Oscillators (VCSOs) product-line, targeting 100Gbps/200Gbps coherent optical module applications. b. Developed and implemented a roadmap for Crystal Oscillators (XOs) product-line, targeting Data Center Interconnect (DCI) 100Gbps/400Gbps Optical Module applications. c. Collaborated with team facility in Japan, providing customers with high-quality VCSOs and XOs in a timely manner. d. Drafted detail technical applications note, documenting optical Crystal Oscillator devices to use a source for 100MHz REFCLK signal PCI Express (PCIe) applications, adhering to compliance with system-level jitter requirements.

Provided pre-sales and post-sales support for ClariPhy’s 100/200 Gbbps Coherent Optical Transceiver Products. These products accept a 64B/66B PCS Encoded 100GbE (Gigabit Ethernet) data stream via a CAUI and GMP-mapped this signal into an OPU4/ODU4/OTU4. These products can also accept OTU4 data via an OTL4.10 Interface. Either way, these products would convert this data into a signal (which would be routed to an Optical Modulator/Transceiver) that would be of the QPSK, DQPSK or 16QAM formats (and vise-versa). The chip also includes an on-chip Digital Signal Processor (DSP) that supports the following functions: Clock and Data Recovery, Chromatic Dispersion Compensation, Fiber Length Estimation, etc.Provide post-sales support for Clariphy’s 40Gbps Coherent Optical Transceiver Products. These products would accept system-side data via an OIF-SFI5.1 Interface and converts this data into a signal (which would be routed to an Optical Transceiver) that would be of the BPSK, DBPSK, QPSK, DQPSK formats (and vise-versa). The chip also includes an on-chip Digital Signal Processor (DSP) that supports the following functions: Clock and Data Recovery, Chromatic Dispersion Compensation, Fiber Length Estimation, etc.

Provide pre and post-sales support for all of Exar’s Communication Products (throughout North and South America). These products include Ethernet-over-SONET/SDH products, Ethernet-over-PDH (T1/E1/T3/E3) products, a 20Gbps OTN/SONET Muxponder, SONET/SDH (TDM) Mapper products, STS-3/STS-12 Transceiver and CDR products, T1/E1 Framers and LIUs, T3/E3 Framers and LIUs.

Exar Corporation is a Semiconductor Manufacturer that (among other things) specializes in the design and development of semiconductor devices for Data-Comm/Telecommunication Applications.Over the years Exar Corporation has (and continues to) develop Telecommunication ICs that support the following data-rates/protocols.- T1/E1- T3/E3- SONET/SDH- ATM (over DS3, E3 and SONET/SDH)- PPP (over DS3, E3 and SONET/SDH)- Mapper chips (which mapped 12 DS3/E3/STS-1/STM-0 Channels into an STS-12/STM-04 signal).- Mapper chips (which VT-mapped 28 DS1s or TU-mapped 21 E1s) into an STS-1/STM-0 signal.My mission was to develop and manage a team of Engineers to provide Hardware and Software Design support to our customers and attempt to make the experience of designing their systems (with our chips) as painless as possible.My team was also responsible for creating and providing much of the technical documentation on our products as well.
