Darrell Taylor began his career with an electrical engineering degree from Purdue University as a design engineer creating patented robotics and electrical controls. From there, Darrell created and operated an information technology department for a 1.2M sq ft facility of a major auto manufacturer while earning his MBA. Upon completion of his MBA, Darrell accepted a position as a program manager with a conglomerate Government contractor. In his career, Darrell obtained his Professional Engineering license in order to work for the public. Darrell founded a real estate investment company focused on reconstruction, rehabilitation, and leasing of properties. Darrell then partnered with a merger and acquisition firm with over 30 years of M&A experience. Together with Darrell’s expertise in financial analysis, operational structures, business plan creation/packaging, an MBA, and a technical engineering background, he made the company one of the best firms in the area. Darrell is the former owner and president of Premier Media Technologies, Destin Florida’s highest-ranked luxury home automation systems contractor and leading provider of custom home theater, audio, video, security, and home automation solutions. Darrell joined Gulf Coast Electric as owner and CEO to provide guidance and vision to the unequaled sophistication, professionalism, and respectability that is the history of Gulf Coast Electric. In his spare time, Darrell enjoys rebuilding antique pinball machines, traveling, hiking, hockey, many long term friendships, and a crazy history of improvisational acting. Darrell resides on Okaloosa Island in Florida.
