Strong leadership skills - led large professional staffs of up to 30 people – with a key focus on developing future leadership. Lead significant cross-functional teams. Lead and participate in key projects and committees including M&A, pension, finance, credit, commodity and disclosure. Significant experience in working with our Board of Directors on capital structure, capital planning and capital raising - developed dividend and shareholder return policies. Negotiated and executed multi-billion dollar financing agreements. Significant risk management experience including currency, commodity and pension exposures. Experience in implementing key technology projects which increased efficiencies, reduced costs and reduced risks.

Provide leadership and guidance (and when necessary execution support) to 15 professionals and set the agenda which ensures that we meet our annual operating plan while adhering to PepsiCo’s principles. Ensure the development of my team (and the other junior members of the Treasury Department) so that we have future leaders and adequate bench strength. Direct Responsibilities included Capital Markets, Domestic Cash Operations and Global Pensions.

Established policies covering capital structure, shareholder returns, debt structure, hedging, investments, counterparty risk and bank relationships. Managed global capital markets including debt portfolio, multiple commercial paper programs, $4.0 billion cash investment portfolio, multiple bank facilities and hedging activities.
