Engineering Design Assurance & Productivity/Engineering Lean Six Sigma Coordinator.Overall budget authority for the engineering department coupled with design assurance responsibility pertaining to all engineering activities on new and existing programs. Responsible for driving lean initiatives coupled with sound engineering practice to provide value to our customers and achieve superior financial performance by delivering high-quality, affordable solutions.

Responsible for the management and leadership of the HITS contract and its associated Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Serve as the primary interface with the HUD HITS Program Management Office (PMO). Interface with the geographically dispersed program organizations, customers, suppliers, and technical teams in an inclusive environment to insure requirements, IT and customer services are clearly defined and executed on time and within budget. In conjunction with functional HITS organizations, insure the program is properly staffed with the appropriate skills throughout the life cycle and product dependencies are met. In addition, ensure the development of project plans and schedules with the appropriate resources are defined to meet internal and contract obligations. Responsible for partnering with the functional organizations to develop management and technical staffs knowledge and core competencies to support core functions. Manage personnel activities of direct reporting management, including performance assessments, promotions, compensation activity, employee recognition and discipline. Champion and leverage the used of lean six sigma on the program to improve the efficiency of the organization and its processes. Ensure financial targets are tracked/met and analyzed to efficiently support all aspects of the business. Provides regular status and other communications regarding program performance to the HITS Program Director and HUD HITS PMO.

Corporate LM21 Operating Excellence and Program Management organization as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Maritime Systems & Sensors (MS2), Information Systems & Global Services (IS&GS), Simulation Training & Support (STS) and Corporate Engineering & Technology. Responsible for implementing the lean six sigma, facilitating structured improvement activities (SIAs), deployment of lean six sigma tools and training to provide creative, cost-effective solutions for our programs, their customers and our shareholders.
