Responsibilities included sales, business development, and marketing of Headwaters plant services division, the nations largest disposal contractor in United States for Coal Combustion Residuals (CCRs).Successfully led the development and implementation of the divestiture strategy for Headwaters coal cleaning business, resulting in the successful divestiture of eleven coal cleaning facilities.Developed and implemented a plan to reduce losses from Headwaters coal cleaning business.

Co-founder and co-owner of Eagle North America, Inc., an environmental clean-up and mineral recovery services provider. Developed and prepared company’s business plan. Prepared corporate presentations for capital fundraising activities. Responsible for the sales, marketing, and business development for this start-up company. Constructed the first successful large scale coal recovery project in Alabama of metallurgical coal. Responsible for growth of company’s revenues from zero to over $40 million in annual sales in less than five years. Sold coal recovery business to Headwaters, Inc. in May 2006.

Led successful expansion into new business area of mineral recovery and waste volume reduction. Achieved significant results in increasing market share and developing new business, and consistently posted sales numbers that exceeded targets. Developed new ideas and strategic approaches for increasing services opportunities from a regional to national footprint. Responsible for over $100 million in sales from new clients. Repeatedly exceeded established sales targets.

Directly responsible for the operation of various nuclear high-profile waste disposal projects locations all over the United States. Qualified to prepare and ship both low level and high level nuclear waste on both highways and rail. Managed all aspects of the shipping process to include: shipment planning, shipment preparation, shipment radiation shielding planning, shipment documentation, and all Federal, State, and Local regulatory notifications and approval processes. Served as Project Manager on several large scale, multi-million dollar nuclear remediation projects.
