Software: SHAREPOINT (2007, 2010), VB.NET, SQL, Classic ASP, CSS, HTML, XML, INFOPATH SharePoint 2010I was a team member during the SharePoint 2010 upgrade project. During this process, one of my primary tasks was getting documentation built and deploying our non-SharePoint applications. Currently, I am a developer and one of the SharePoint administrators on our external facing SharePoint 2010 website. I have done countless development projects and maintenance on our site. One of those projects was to consolidate all of the email functionality throughout our website. This was done in coordination with multiple teams for a project to upgrade our notice functionality to send out non critical notices. Currently our site has over 90 custom web parts that are built for it. SharePoint 2007I was primarily in a developer role on the SharePoint 2007 website. I did both development and maintenance work for our site. Classic ASPI am the primary for several our legacy apps that we are phasing out. I am responsible for three Classic ASP apps. Two of those application are on a different several than our SharePoint website. One of the applications does reside on our SharePoint website. There have been numerous changes to these websites over the years.

Software: VB 6, SQL, Classic ASP, Crystal Reports and Access Database - Helped to internationalize the current version of BOSS (Business Operations Support Software) for their overseas franchises. This process was completed by using a resource file to insert the translations and then using VB to pull those translations into the application. Along with translations, there were formatting, date and currency issues that were taken care of through code. In my time at Home Instead, I worked on the following countries either as my primary project or coming in to fix changes needed: South Korea, Taiwan, Finland, Ireland, United Kingdom, Puerto Rico and the US version as well. - Built an E-mail utility that was packed with the BOSS system. This utility was built for marketing purposes to pull email addresses from within the database and put them into a file. This file was then transferred via FTP to another 3rd party vendor for tracking and marketing purposes.

Medwell Rx Software: C#.NET, Quickbooks SDK and SQL- Gathered requirements from the users and developed a new software application that integrated additional data needs from a SQL Server database into Quickbooks. This application enabled all of the needed data to be transferred from SQL Server to Quickbooks easily and quickly. As the software was being developed, additional meetings were required with the business owner to fine tune the application. This application allowed the invoice and billing functions to be done from within Quickbooks instead of using dual software packages. State of Iowa Software: Visual Web Developer, ASP.NET, VB.NET, CSS and SQL- Worked on converting the Contract Administration Tracking system (CAT) from Visual Basic 6.0 to a ASP.Net web application. This conversion also required the Microsoft Access database to be converted to a SQL Server database as well. The web version of the application had security features added to it so that in the future it could be taken and deployed onto the World Wide Web. Currently it is being used on the State of Iowa’s internal Network.Sirius Software SolutionsSoftware: Classic ASP, VB Script, Java Script and SQL- Developed new functionality into a Sage CRM application. These pages pulled data from a SQL server database. These pages were used to integrate data between the CRM system and a medical application called Medinformatix. These pages also used socket calls to pop up screens from Medinformatix with current patient data in them.

Software: Classic ASP, CSS, Java Script, VB Script, HTML, XML and SQL- Took over the development and maintenance for the SIU and Staff Legal systems. These applications use SQL stored procedures to store and retrieve data . These systems track cases, reporting and time entry for their users. Both applications submit billing files to the ACCESS billing system in Zurich. The SIU and Staff Legal systems have over ten web applications that they encompass. These applications are used within the Zurich intranet all across the country. The SIU system tracks fraudulent insurance claims and the personnel that work on them. The Staff Legal system tracks attorney appointments and the cases that they are working on. I have also cross trained an off-shore resource for these projects and helped him develop the skills necessary to work on these applications. Software: ASP.NET and SQL- Participated on team in the development of Zurich Programs Opportunities Center (ZPOC). This program managed the ideas/opportunities that upper management were looking at as investments and new lines of business. It helped them coordinate those opportunities through the proper channels so that they could make correct decisions on the opportunities available. On this system I built a document storage system in SQL server for the supporting documentation that the users needed to save. Those documents ranged from Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and even images. When these images were retrieved by the application, they were displayed in a web browser.

Software: Classic ASP, SQL, SMTP and Access Database- Fully designed and developed an informational website for Truckwriters Incorporated. This website was built for claimants, agents and prospective employees to be able to get information about Truckwriters. This application was able to e-mail employees with applications from potential employees, claim and agent information. Software: VB6, SQL and Access Database- In charge of developing and implementing the Debt Protection software. This application was used to store information for banks that got debt protection policies through Zurich. I was responsible for the whole development process on this project from requirements gathering to implementation. I even retired the application 2 years later when Zurich decided to get out of the debt protection business.Software: VB6 and SQL- Developed a DLL to help simplify our communications with the AS/400. This DLL packages all functionality for the AS/400 into one easy wrapper. The DLL used ADO calls to connect to the AS/400 and its DB2 databases. Once completed this DLL was included in all applications that connected to the AS/400.- Developed a DLL to help simplify calls to the F3 Forms software. This DLL packaged all functionality for the F3 Forms into an easy DLL. This made it easier for the other applications to call and use the F3 Forms. Once completed this DLL all applications that used F3 Forms. When newer applications were built it was much easier to include the F3 Forms when this DLL was included.
