Conducted starting up and shutting down of plants for regular maintenance and also emergency shut down due to unforeseen disruptions in feed stock, raw materials and/or utilities.Field operations include Hand Held Terminal route taking with checks on external equipment like pumps, piping, vessels, tanks, reactors, distillation columns, vacuum pumps & systems, turbines, motors, compressors etc. Conducting regular sample laboratory analysis using Gas Chromatograph machines (using sample vials & gas bombs), water analysis, TOC Meters, titration analysis etc. Ensure workplace safety for operations and maintenance work: use of various gas meters to check for flammable and/or toxic gas and vapors Assist in maintenance works like piping removal and installation, strainer cleaning, vessel/piping cleaning.Board operations include monitoring and checking of plant operating parameters using the Distributed Control Systems to maintain the plant in smooth operating conditions. Monitoring of the plant parameters includes streamlining and minimising the use of resources like steam, water and electricity to keep the plant running smoothly with the most efficient use of resources and raw feed materials.
