I have over 49 years of consulting engineering experience in project management for civil engineering, transportation and bridge engineering projects, including freeways, highways, interchanges and local street projects. I am also a certified value engineer with experience in conducting value engineering workshops and studies for design projects across the country. I have extensive experience with structural evaluation of historic bridges and structures. My experience also includes providing quality control and quality assurance reviews for civil, structural, transportation and geotechnical projects. I was awarded Life Member status by the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), and am currently a Fellow with ASCE. I am currently the transportation senior manager in Mead & Hunt's Milwaukee office. I also am a certified Value Engineer, as a Value Methodology Practitioner (VMP) by SAVE International, with a Life certification. In 2020 I received the "Engineer of the Year" Award presented by STEM Forward in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I also received the Engineer in Consulting Practice Achievement Award and the Distinguished Service Award from the ASCE Wisconsin Section.
