Darrell Boger is a multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, sound engineer, producer, educator, solo performer, and band leader based in Northwest Lower Michigan. Having taken the stage 2000+ times over the course of his 20 year professional journey, DB is gifted at reading a crowd and pivoting when necessary to provide a high-end and exciting show. A consummate professional, his larger than life stage presence and expert musicianship leave people talking for days.For the last seven years Darrell has been the weekly worship/band leader at the Kalkaska Church of Christ. He has helped develop worship ministry infrastructure and talent pool by providing education and experience.The Darrell Boger Band has made several noteworthy appearances, including support artist for Michigan blues legend Larry McCray, and has headlined the ARCA pre-race concert at Michigan International Speedway, In October 2020 Darrell joined the Donald Benjamin Band as lead guitarist, where he performed as a member for nearly a year before leaving to pursue other opportunities. Despite the pandemic, in 2021 Darrell performed 300+ events as a solo performer, band leader, fill-in musician, worship leader or accompanist (most notably with Kanin Elizabeth @ Michigan State Fair Superstars Competition where we placed in the top 5 of over 1000 applicants). 2022 is looking to be even more exciting with the Darrell Boger Band billed as local support for Christian Rock band Manic Drive. In addition to his live music exploits, Darrell is accomplished session musician and producer with a decade of home studio experience. "A world without music is like a world without color."
