Frontline is the business I owned and operated in Pittsburgh from 1992 - 98, and then restarted in San Diego from 2009 - 18, and now back in Pittsburgh. Frontline specializes in automating business processes and managing data in MS Access and SQL Server. Our projects frequently involve a combination of an Access front-end with a SQL Server back-end (aka Client-Server), or a migration from Access to SQL Server. This may include any or all of the following: data modeling, database design, user interface (UI) development, programming in VBA (Access) and T-SQL, ETL modules, interfacing with 3rd-party or other internal systems, data standardization and cleanup, database administration, etc. In addition to distributed Access applications, we also develop browser-based UIs in SQL Server Reporting services (SSRS) and a variety of programming environments like VB.NET, C#, Javascript, XML, and PHP.

Developed in SQLServer with an Access 2010 user interface, this robust system manages clients, employees, policies, benefit plans, enrollments, terminations, COBRA, employee notifications, plan renewals, contact management, and many more functions. The system includes an automated interface to the Thinkware payroll management database.
