Darrell is an accomplished leader in human resources, diversity management, organizational assessment, operational management and he is a seasoned communicator and public speaker. He rose to the top of his military profession as the head of personnel (Human Resources) for the U.S. Air Force and was a highly decorated Lieutenant General (3-star). During his 34 year military career, he held a unique variety of demanding positions inside and outside the traditional human resources leadership model. He organized international-level events for the 50th Anniversary of WWII in Europe, led human resources operations during combat operations in Iraq and Afghanistan, commanded the largest installation and training mission in the Air Force and planned and executed intricate National Special Security Events in Washington DC. In addition, he served as Chairman of the Board of Directors for two revenue generating companies within the Department of Defense.Since leaving the military, Darrell led a 2.4M hour/yr and $48M/yr training and development group which earned 6 national-level awards in 2014 and advised a wide variety of organizations on multiple aspects of human resource management (organizational effectiveness, evaluations, compensation, recruiting, etc.).
