Inveniam is a Document management/consolidation platform using kubernetes, AI and blockchain technologies to provide secure and verifiable document analysis and review. DevOps responsibilities include leading the team that manages systems utilizing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform/Terragrunt,monitoring and measuring performance using Prometheus, NewRelic and Kibana/Opensearch, driving CI/CD utilizing GitHub, TeamCity, and Terraform, and managing costs and security in an AWS EKS and AI Bedrock environment.

Canoo is an EV car manufacturer where EV car data is collected and stored in the cloud and mobile apps can communicate with the car in real-time. In this position, I was responsible for all corporate infrastructure on-prem and cloud which included multiple locations and planning for new manufacturing facilities. As a startup my initial role was to create plans and processes for IT support, incident management, cloud cost controls, monitoring and alerting, and preparing our company to execute at scale. This involved understanding the business and the current state of products and systems currently being designed. This understanding led to solutions that would take advantage of current investment and smartly improve, grow and scale to the levels required once in full production. Sadly economic conditions and directional changes ended my tenure here before EV cars entered production.

Securonix provides SNYPR which is a SaaS SIEM product residing completely in the cloud utilizing AI techniques to detect security issues. The base technologies for the product is Kafka and AWS EMR (Spark). My responsibilities included managing a development team for the SnyprEye product which gathers performance and health data from our SaaS systems and provides monitoring, alerting and visualizations based on this data. I also managed other monitoring and alerting systems utilizing Nagios. My teams were also responsible for generating reports for end customers, internal teams, and to finance for billing details utilizing data from the operational data warehouse. I was a key member of the Change Approval Board, the Architecture Review Board, and other groups within Securonix which provide oversight for SaaS operations. Securonix SaaS operations are mostly within AWS utilizing many cloud native systems. Securonix has been working in a hybrid model during my tenure with work locations in India and the U.S. I've been involved with integrating several systems including DataDog, Totango, Apptio, and Atlassian JIRA.

• Managing multiple programming teams on-site and off-site in multiple locations including Cordoba, Argentina and Bogota, Columbia. Teams work in a SAFe environment in the Southwest Airlines (SWA) Crew software area responsible for design, code, and deploying of systems. Systems operate in Websphere and AWS K8S environments written in Java.• Technical Representative to Southwest Airlines on behalf of Globant to the Crew Technology space. Duties include providing technical expertise in solutions, design, and process, career planning for Globant pod members, working with SWA management on initiatives, issues, blockers, and risks, and farming for additional opportunities within SWA for Globant.

• Responsible for the monitoring, operating, DevOps and software development activities for 50+ internet sites utilizing WordPress and Magento• Infrastructure managed in Amazon AWS and other hosting providers• Integrated the following SaaS providers: Algolia Search, Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Adobe Campaign, AddThis, NewRelic, Auth0, Authorize.net, Facebook, Adobe DTM, Google Tag Manager, Atlasian Cloud and Google Login• Designed and implemented a site compression/migration strategy for major content and e-commerce sites. The design consists of a hybrid architecture of cloud, SaaS, managed, and in-house systems. • DevOps utilized GitHub, Composer, Bamboo and SaltStack

• Responsible for all internet operations including support of email delivery and tracking systems, telephony systems, and the SaaS Sales Acceleration platforms used mostly by inside sales professionals. Direct reports included L1 and L2 support, monitoring, and incident management. • Saas Sales Acceleration platform was a LAMP stack utilizing Hadoop and MongoDB for machine learning. Amazon Lambda was utilized for integration with SalesForce.• Supported over 2000+ end-user companies across North America and Europe integrating with SalesForce and Microsoft Dynamics. • Managed systems that customers utilized to generate over 25 million VOIP calls a month with recording and monitoring capabilities. • Duplicated the North American SaaS infrastructure completely in AWS to support the opening of the European market. This implementation included high availability features and VoIP telephony.

• Responsible for the custom Java e-commerce application and infrastructure generating $5B in annual e-commerce revenue while meeting all SLAs for clients like Dick’s Sporting Goods, Bath and Body Works, Polo Ralph Lauren, Petsmart, and Toys R Us. Both North American and European sites were supported.• Managed incident management, operations, and change management. The team provided 24x7 monitoring, triage of incidents, and support (L1 and L2) for all Linux Systems and on-line environments. • Lead the effort to become SOX compliant and later PCI compliant across the GSI enterprise. This effort included creating and maintaining documentation, creation and execution of new oversight processes, procurement of new systems to support these new processes, managing the audit process, analysis and remediation of systems and processes for security compliance.• Lead yearly efforts to analyze and remediate system growth/scale initiatives. These projects involved cross department resources involving software development, infrastructure changes, performance testing, failure testing, implementation, and presenting the successful efforts and results to client executives.
