Main responsibilities include managing a portfolio of clients and make sure that their demands are met to the highest standard, conduct ongoing training to the employees present at clients on Audit, VAT Returns & Management Accounts. Follow up on pending issues between clients and employees` and ensure that the client`s accounts are kept up to date and at a standard. Evaluate the employees` performance and conduct one to one evaluation meetings for further improvement and growth. Assist our clients with MicroInvest and Investment Aid applications. Assist our employees in the preparation of VAT Returns, FS3, FS7`s & Tax Returns on time. Attend client board meetings and provide consultation on growth prospects, current financial situation and way forward. Assist the back office staff was necessary for concluding audits, tax & VAT returns and other duties that may be required from time to time.

My responsibilities including assisting other members of the audit team, inquiring of management and others to gain an understanding of the client itself, its operations, financial reporting and known fraud or error, ensure that the client is keeping its books in a proper manner and in accordance with the applicable auditing and accounting standards, laws and regulations, evaluate and understand the internal control system of the client, responsible for testing of controls and substantive testing - Sections audited are Revenue, Inventory, cash and cash equivalents, trade receivables, trade payables, payroll, administrative expenses, fixed assets and equity, analyse and evaluate the accuracy of accounting systems and procedures, perform analytical procedures on expected or unexpected variances in account balances or classes of transactions, confirm the accounts receivable and other accounts with a third party, prepare audit paperwork in accordance with standards and requirements, observe the physical inventory count, testing the documentation supporting account balances or classes of transactions and establish working relationships with company's staff, business partners and clients.

During this period I was seconded to EY Newcastle where I performed the audits of two local councils being Middlesbrough Local Council and Northumerland County Council. My responsibilities included performing several tasks being fixed assets additions testing, vouching of expenses, other income testing, loans and borrowings, leases and rent contracts as well as finance expenditure.
