Hey. I’m Darren Arceo, a 3D Artist in the Architectural Visualization field. I’m sure you can find references to my experience down below but let me share a quick story about how I stumbled upon this mostly fun but challenging industry.I’ve always been into tech and art for as far as I can remember. So, when it came down to choosing a path to take in school, IT seemed liked a good fit, which was actually my first choice. I decided to give it a bit of a twist and took up Multimedia Arts to explore graphic design. I thought it was a pretty good mix of both of my interests.It was an exciting choice, but that’s where I discovered the world of 3D in one of the first year classes. After going through the basics, I started getting hooked and did some exploring by myself. It was clear at this point that my focus has changed. I wanted to be a 3D Artist. Video games were the dream at first, but in 2018, almost 2 years after finishing school, I came across a rendering tutorial. This opened my eyes to Architectural Visualization. Quite a discovery for me since I’ve never even heard about the industry prior to that day. From there, I dove in, learning everything I could. I found my passion. Fast forward to the present, 5 years of experience in the field and still looking for new challenges to help myself grow more.Thank you for reading.
