With over 25 years of experience in security management, CCTV monitoring, control room management, access control, and security operations, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to my role as the Head of National Operations at Aegis Support Services. My previous experience includes successfully overseeing the delivery and quality of services across multiple sites and clients, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.During my time as the Head of Security at First Choice Facilities Services, I had the opportunity to plan, implement, and monitor security systems and procedures for a diverse portfolio of commercial and residential properties. Manned guarding was a core function of our service and I had operational over site and control of a large number of sites including multi occupied offices, large industrial and retail sites, lorry distribution centers and residential appartment buildings. I also designed and implemented an in-house control room/CCTV and alarm receiving center, enhancing the overall security infrastructure.Prior to that, I served as the Head of Security for Ladbrokes Coral, where I managed a 24-hour police-style control room. In this role, I effectively handled incidents such as robbery, criminal damage, anti-social behavior, and health and safety concerns. I played a key role in the successful rollout of over 3000 digital CCTV systems, as well as IP-based alarms and access control systems. Additionally, I was responsible for managing all physical security products, including safes, doors, screens, panic alarms, and other measures to ensure a safe working environment.Throughout my career, I have developed and honed my skills in security management, access control, security operations, risk assessment, emergency response, and crisis management. I am also adept at communication, leadership, collaboration, and problem-solving.
