Having worked in the private client sector for over 20 years, I specialise in advising clients on all aspects of trust and estate tax compliance, accounting and administration.Tax matters are wide ranging. I assist individuals with their personal tax compliance including Capital Gains Tax reporting and inheritance tax planning. I also advise offshore trustees in connection with UK tax compliance. In all scenarios, compliance and reporting duties are fulfilled.My clients are often large, wealthy, multi-generational families who require assistance with their trusts, family investment companies and family limited partnerships. My team also provides family office services to reduce the administrative burden for families.I also act for clients who have received compensation awards from an accident or medical negligence claim. In these scenarios, as well as the usual day to day administration of the trust, I can assist with the appointment of suitable investment managers and provide cash flow management, as well as arranging payroll for staff and assisting with milestone events.I am a full member of STEP (the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners) and an affiliate member of ACIE (The Association of Charity Independent Examiners).Before joining New Quadrant in 2013, I spent eight years at Coutts & Co before moving to Crowe Clark Whitehill as a Trust Manager for five years.
