Directing a global program to establish a first of its kind ecommerce marketplace for genuine OEM spare parts for the automotive aftermarket sector. The program brings together cross functional teams from multiple organisations across Europe, South East Asia, South America, and Australia. Radically changing the logistics associated with OEM spare parts, the marketplace brings together sellers and buyers across all industry verticals.The solution incorporates best-of-breed ecommerce technologies together with bespoke development, artificial intelligence, and microservices architecture to deliver B2B capability with a B2C user experience. The program required the setup of Agile teams, including DevSecOps methodology, delivering to a roadmap to achieve growth and international scalability designed for accessibility, multi-lingual capability, as well as other localisation features.Soft-launch achieved in less that six months.

A member of the executive leadership team accountable for the development of mental health digital solutions essential to the mission and vision of the Black Dog Institute. Directed the digital transformation strategy and culture to ensure the continued leadership of Australia’s public mental health and suicide prevention response through science, compassion, and action. I held the dual role of CTO and CIO taking a research led, customer centric approach to mental health digital product and platform development, data driven insights and analytics, as well as internal business applications and operations. This involved the Leadership of cross-functional teams that delivered innovative product design using modern design, development, and release methodologies to bring valuable clinical solutions to mental health care professionals, clinical services, and direct to the public.Motivated by the most contemporary research in mental health support, diagnostic, and treatment practices, I spearheaded the translation into digital products that deliver real world outcomes. This included products classified as Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) developed to the ISO 13485 standard. Guided by the principles of Lived Experience, the products we created promote positive mental health outcomes across Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, all Australians, and populations across the globe.

My role was an advisor to CEO, COO, CTO and other executive business leaders on technology roadmaps, digital strategy development, and program execution. I led digital transformation programs for clients across a broad range of industry sectors including government, automotive, healthcare, and fast-moving consumable goods. I directed on-shore and off-shore teams delivering large-scale programs focused on digital enablement and transformation.Specific programs that I led included a group wide digital re-investment program for an ASX listed automotive aftermarket organisation. I directed the B2C and B2B commerce programs using wholly remote on-shore and off-shore teams supporting the full product realisation process, from ideation through digital design and technical delivery.I established a software development platform to build mobile digital solutions for client organisations, including the preparation of financial budgets, resource planning, creation of the technical roadmap, and establishment of the SDLC process. This included management of the acquisition and setup of the SAP HANA Cloud Platform and establishment of the initial pilot development project.I structured a client program of works for the commercial transition of a 120 million dollar business unit. This required the set up of the risk and governance framework, technology plan, resource requirements assessment, and stakeholder engagement plan required to deliver to the program within the clients expected timeline.

Sitting on the Executive Leadership Team, my responsibilities included the accountability for all IT operations supporting internal business requirements and external healthcare IT consulting services. Key to this was the development and management of all IT strategies, as well as service delivery across 7 companies in 4 countries.By continually challenging accepted practices I transitioned this role into that of modern Chief Information Officer, encompassing the establishment of the company wide digital transformation program that involved building B2B and B2C website platforms with e-commerce capabilities, social media, digital marketing, CRM, and digitising operations.

I delivered a comprehensive program of works to implement core ERP, CRM, Business Intelligence and mobile applications across all business functional areas for a major medical device group of companies. The organisational scope included the implementation of the SAP suite of products across 7 companies in two countries with 540 users. The functional scope covered financials, sales, distribution, warehousing, procurement, service operations, employee services and payroll. The program consolidated 30 disparate applications into the unified suite of SAP platforms, incorporating the first CRM integrated SAP Mobility Platform implementation in Asia Pacific. It was delivered on-time and 15% inside of the original budget.Restructured a healthcare IT solutions business across Australia and New Zealand and established standards-based work practices compliant with the regulations for clinical IT systems. Implemented and supported Picture Archiving Communication Systems (PACS) for 24 hospitals and 68 medical imaging centres.Client industries included healthcare, events management, construction and chemicals.

I project managed and enacted the implementation of ERP delivery contracts with SAP and Sage Line 500 ERP products. My remit was to ensure projects remained profitable and adhered to client scope, schedule and budget.Client industries included healthcare, government, manufacturing, construction and professional services.

I was responsible for top line sales revenue and business unit profitability for a 50 million dollar industrial adhesives business unit. Subsequently, I was seconded full time to an ERP implementation project as the subject matter expert for the sales and distribution modules.
