Instil in new recruits the ethos and core values of the organisation.As a secondary role, plan, co-ordinate and deliver the Inter Collegiate Games against French, Dutch and German Air Force Colleges as well as other UK Officers Colleges. With the status of the RAF College at stake, the influence gained through an exemplary delivery of these games is critical. With a visiting contingent of over 80 delegates competing across 7 sports, the organisation is detailed whilst delivered on a limited budget. Organisation of VIP luncheons, social events for competitors and tours of the magnificent College Hall Officers Mess are but a few of the non-sporting activities provided over an intense 3 day period 4 times a year.As a tertiary role, train staff in the safe operation and use maintenance of generators and field heaters. Train staff in manual handling techniques.

As the Senior Engineer to an infantry Sqn, provide all logistical and engineering management support to a very high readiness military organisation. Responsible for the management of 15 subordinate tradesmen from a diverse trade set and the maintenance of a safe and efficient working environment. Ensure all engineering staff are adequately trained and that the vehicle fleet is operated and maintained in line with current legal and MOD guidance. Required to plan and co-ordinate all maintenance and repair activity and for maintaining standards whilst achieving the highest level of equipment availability. Provide strategic planning assistance and advice to Senior Officers planning for potential short notice deployments. Health and Safety advisor to a 150 strong workforce and Quality Assurance auditor with regular representation at high level meetings.

Senior Engineer to 51 mechanical maintenance engineers and over 4200 pieces of Typhoon Ground Support Equipment (Plant) and Airfield Support Vehicles. The provision of trained and authorised mechanical manpower to support the maintenance, rectification and modification of a developing equipment set. Propose modification to Eurofighter support equipment to optimise the UK air defence support. Ensure economical repair of equipment whilst maintaining mission critical equipment availability. Manage the application of the multi-skilling program to add flexibility to a single traded workforce. As the Continuous Improvement co-ordinator for an engineering establishment with a workforce totalling over 140, co-ordinate and manage CI suggestion and harness opportunities for better ways of working.As a secondary role, manage the RAF Coningsby Cross Country Team who achieved a creditable second place in the RAF Championships. This followed several years with insufficient team members to achieve team status.
