Initially tasked with overseeing the construction on a 10 storey, 105 unit building, I was latterly entrusted to concurrently run a 7 storey, 49 unit building and a 6 storey, 5 core, 120 unit building.I was exposed to all elements of the construction process from RC Frame, SFS with brickwork on Plot 2, rainscreen cladding with brie soleil panels on Plot 4, groundworks and service connections throughout and the fit out process on all units.

A development of residential apartments across 5 floors, designed as an RC frame with steel frame elements, utilising the existing brick façade to ensure the dockside architecture was maintained. The site was situated within a conservation area with the build covering the full extent of the site. The site required extensive logistical planning both pre and during construction and a complex façade retention scheme to allow access for demolition and piling operations within the walls. The units were fitted out to an high standard with both client and contractor proud of the works undertaken.

Constructed two major retail units within the UK’s first inner city, Bicester-Village-style, retail development in Hackney. This was a £4.5m contract working for Manhattan Loft initially and latterly FT2. My team and I handled the complex design and build of these retail outlets for two of the top brands and emerging local designers featured within the Hackney Fashion Hub in Morning Lane. As the Site Manager of these new units I was charged with developing two basements, through a 10 meter reduced dig and the installation of a Groundforce Propping System and the subsequent shell and core build. This included an extremely challenging steel frame construction in close proximity to the adjacent live overground rail, a bespoke and highly detailed cladding system, RC slab elements, a complex basement waterproofing system and an innovative flat roofing system. We endeavoured and helped to deliver a first class product for the client and will hopefully be remembered as an integral part of the Hackney Regeneration Scheme.

Previously managed Prime Construction's flagship project at Archway Tower, North London. I was responsible for the installation of the scaffolding package worth almost £2m, the soft strip demolition package, the mechanical, gas and electrical isolations and the subsequent installation of the temporary plumbing and electrics, the construction of a 5 meter high hoarding and loading gantry and the safe removal of asbestos contaminated materials from the building.
