My name is Darren Breeze, I have been a fully qualified Electrician for 23 years after completion of a fully indentured apprenticeship. I have covered most aspects of the Electrical Industry inc. electrician, foreman, supervisor, technician, engineer and company owner. My company employed around 25 electricians working on commercial and industrial installations all over the UK, over 50% on MOD bases. As an engineer/supervisor I was involved in delivering a £10m refurb of a live working hospital, I was in charge of all labour, materials and health & safety, I answered directly to the project manager. I have had several supervisor roles ranging from commercial refits to solar power installations. As an Electrician/Technician I have experience in the following, Commercial, Industrial, Domestic, Control Wiring, Control Panels(inc. design & build), Testing 50Hz & 60Hz systems, Instrumentation, PV solar panels, BMS wiring, Shop fitting and some Design work.I have worked in hospitals, water treatment plants, MOD bases (achieving a AAA clearance), offices, houses, supermarkets, department stores, police stations, schools and colleges. I am currently working in Afghanistan on LOGCAP IV at FOB Kandahar, I am working as an Electrical Testing Engineer on both 50Hz and 60Hz systems.I am honest and trustworthy and hard working. I enjoy working as part of a team but am equally happy making decisions on my own. As you can see I do not have a degree in Electrical Engineering but what I do have is 23 years of experience at every level and a proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget. I am looking to carry on my career abroad, either as a Technician, Supervisor or an Engineering role.
