Document ControlI manage over 3500 documents and drawings for Stoke works, my responsibilities as document controller are:• To control a document register for each area issuing out any new, updated, amendments, technical bulletins, Engineering Alterations, Engineering Checks, Engineering Reports and Drawings.• To notify the relevant managers and team leaders via email of these changes for them to brief out to the shop floor if required.• To audit random folders throughout the year to make sure everything in there is still present and at the correct issue.• To replace any lost document or folders

PurchasingTo source and purchase new gauges & equipment, helping the purchasing department with purchasing new parts for maintenance, wheels department and stores using company purchase card.BillingUpdating a spreadsheet daily for the billing department, this shows all the calibration costs for each location so each location is charged correctly for any calibration or repair work that has been carried out within that month.

I worked at Wade Ceramics for 8 ¼ Years, during that time my duties were:• Patrol Inspection – Visiting all departments inspecting colleagues work, visually and to engineering drawings.• Goods Inwards – Measuring and inspect fittings to engineering drawings.• Certificate Of Conformity – Measure/inspect products to drawings before dispatching to the customer issuing them a certificate of conformity to guarantee that the product is correct to the drawing.• Calibration – Visiting all sites calibrating all equipment within the 3 sites.• Shadowgraph - calibration of various gauges using this machine.• AQL Inspection – Visual inspection of figures/decanters to visual standards.• Internal Audits – Visiting all areas making sure colleagues are working to their work procedures• Measurement Reports – Measuring and recording results before production or toll modification.
